EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY                                                                    JULY 1, 2020 


Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Shelton Economic Development Corporation will be enforcing the following rules:


  • All employees are to wear masks when entering the office, leaving their work station and moving around common areas (i.e. in hallways, stairwells, going to the restroom, on break, etc.)

  • Employees should clean/disinfect their personal workspace at the beginning and the end of every shift (phones and computers).

  • When using office equipment, i.e. copy machine, fax, phones, kitchen microwave, refrigerator, wipe down with disinfectant.


  • The last person to leave the office should wipe down the light switches and door handles.

  • Practice social distancing avoiding large gatherings and maintaining distance (approximately six feet) from others.


  • Where in-person meetings occur, they should be limited to a maximum of ten people.  Each attendee should have a mask covering their mouth and nose at all times, and a distance of six feet should be maintained.


  • Follow all safety and health protocols when using an elevator.


NOTE:   Employees must not report to work if there is any concern with feeling sick.  It is recommended to take your temperature daily.   It is imperative these procedures are followed to ensure a safe working environment.
